Michelle is a licensed professional counselor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Consultant. She has over two decades of experience working with individuals of all ages struggling with eating disorders throughout various levels of care. Michelle has held several roles in eating disorder treatment including that of therapist, supervisor of graduate student interns and in-training therapists as well as clinical director.

Michelle’s approach is centered on unconditional positive regard, reserving judgment, and being direct when necessary. She also appreciates incorporating humor in the rapport building and maintenance of both therapeutic and working relationships. Michelle has vast experience analyzing family dynamics, skill building, emotion coaching, and developing interpersonal effectiveness to support the family system.
