Rita is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in Madison, WI with over a decade of experience treating patients who suffer from eating disorders and co-occurring disorders. Rita helped to design the nutrition program and Inner Haven Wellness and now serves as a consulting dietitian providing expert care to our clients.

Rita also brings seven years of operations experience through executive leadership roles within various large behavioral health organizations in the Midwest. She has worked within organizations that offer several levels of care for eating disorders and co-occurring disorders including; residential, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs. Rita has helped organizations build, staff and nurture their program offerings as well as expand services to reach more individuals in need of eating disorder treatment.

Rita is also currently the owner and registered dietitian nutritionist at Rita Ekelman – Nutrition Consulting LLC.
