Our multidisciplinary leadership team of compassionate experts collectively brings decades of experience working with individuals and families suffering from eating disorders and co-occurring disorders.

Our team is from Wisconsin and we are passionate about serving our local community. We have built this eating disorder treatment program with Wisconsin residents in mind. We offer intensive outpatient programming (IOP) and partial hospitalization programming (PHP) to adults (ages 18 and older) and adolescents (ages 12-17).

Each of the eating disorder programs offered at our Madison, Neenah, and Milwaukee locations are local, accessible, and tailored to help you build the skills needed to heal and recover.

IOP & PHP Eating Disorder Programs in Wisconsin

At Inner Haven, our eating disorder programs are designed to offer comprehensive care tailored to your unique needs or the needs of your child. We are committed to providing accessible and effective treatment for those dealing with eating disorders. The eating disorder programs offered at our Wisconsin locations include a range of clinical services, adaptable to fit into your daily life.

We offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) was built with your flexibility in mind. We seek to provide you with access to care in a way that works for your life. Our local, intensive eating disorder outpatient program consists of 9-15 hours a week of clinical services delivered over five days. Think of this level of care as a step up from weekly outpatient treatment and before higher levels of care are indicated. Currently, we offer IOP services to adolescents in Neenah, to adults in Madison, and to adults and adolescents virtually across Wisconsin.

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) also known as Day Treatment was built for individuals in need of a higher level of care in a non-hospital environment. Our PHP eating disorder treatment program consists of clinical services delivered five days per week. This level of care is indicated for individuals in need of treatment services that are more intensive than outpatient therapy or an intensive outpatient program. Currently, we offer PHP services to adolescents in Neenah, to adults in Madison, and to adults and adolescents virtually across Wisconsin.

The Inner Haven Wellness program is focused on skill building, utilizing modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Individuals in the IOP and PHP eating disorder programs will work to build the following capabilities:

During your time in our eating disorder treatment program, clients will also receive the following:

Structured meals with support from experienced eating disorder treatment professionals
Experiential and group programming
Mindful movement
Individual sessions with a licensed therapist and dietitian specialized in the treatment of eating disorders
Individual sessions with a psychiatrist specialized in the treatment of eating disorders (PHP only)
Medical oversight including regular nursing touch points (PHP only)

Our Intention

Many individuals with eating disorders struggle to find a full continuum of care and instead bounce between different treatment providers for various levels of care.

Currently, we offer two levels of care (IOP and PHP) to adults (ages 18 and older) suffering from eating disorders, in Madison, Milwaukee, and virtually across Wisconsin.

In addition, we offer two levels of care (IOP and PHP) to adolescents (ages 12-17) with eating disorders in Neenah, and virtually across Wisconsin.

These two levels of care expand access and allow clients to effectively step down from inpatient or residential treatment into our PHP or to step up from outpatient services into our PHP or IOP.
