At Inner Haven Wellness, nutrition is not an “extra” part of eating disorder treatment; it is a core part of healing. Our nutrition programming is led by Elise Webster, MS, RD, LD, CD, Director of Nutrition Services, who brings specialized experience in eating disorder care across residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of treatment. We help clients in Madison, Neenah, and Milwaukee, as well as clients in our virtual programs, rebuild trust with food, reconnect with their bodies, and build practical skills for real life.

Eating disorder nutrition therapy is different from general nutrition counseling. It isn’t about “just eating more” or following a rigid meal plan. It’s about helping clients move toward nutritional rehabilitation, stability, flexibility, and a more peaceful relationship with food.
We use the Plate-by-Plate Approach®, a visual model for nutritional rehabilitation that helps clients build balanced, adequate meals without relying on calorie counts, gram weights, or exchange units. For many people with eating disorders, numbers can become part of the illness. This model shifts the focus from measurement to nourishment.
Every meal and snack in our program is treated as part of eating disorder treatment: an opportunity to practice new skills, challenge harmful thoughts, and build confidence with support close by.
